The first time I heard a Qawalli, I was blown away. These are sung in Farsi, Urdu
and Panjabi, and the presentation consists of four live performances. I can’t give
you a sample because the file sizes are too big, but if you come to my home, we will
listen to them together.
I also have Qawallis by other performers, including the Sabri brothers, but this
presentation just has the singing of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and party. I might make
another one of others later.
