Introduction

I find writing from the heart, helps to unscramble my often unhealthy mind.

I find that by making it rhyme, I want to read it out loud.

When I’m painting or I’m drawing I can lose myself in another world, where any thought that shouldn’t be there, can be cast aside onto paper or canvas.

I wanted to put some of my escapisms together to see how they worked. To see if a combination of arts, (often coming from scary dark recesses in my head), could become something beautiful.

The poems I write, can be inspired by everyday images, emotions and sounds. Some can be dark and thought provoking, others humorous, only intended to put a smile back on my face. The language may be colourful at times, I write from what I know and where I’ve been, there is never any intension to offend.

Being around beautiful inspirational people feeds my creativity. And long may it continue.
