I don’t know why, but I have always been drawn to Arabia. I call it Arabia because
naming countries starts a political debate. I love the language, although I only
know a few words. It is a very romantic language - Arabic.
There are deserts and coastlines, mystery and dreams, songs and dances. I have written
lots of stories and poems about Arabia, and I love the evocative suggestions that
appear at every turn.
